Built in 1709, Bibbys Farm was purchased by the Bolton Scout Trust in March 2001 and opened as a Scout Campsite & Activity Centre in May 2005.
Located within easy reach of the West Pennine Moors, the centre provides access to a wide range of outdoor and indoor activities which are suitable for all ages and abilities.
Feel free to browse around our website, discover how to tailor a visit. have a look at the activities and accomodation on offer and catch up on the latest campsite news.
Since the official opening in May 2005 the campsite has maintained a regular stream of advance bookings for the buildings, and during 2007 hosted two very large camps - 1000 attendees for both the Warrington District camp in September and the Greater Manchester North County Centenary camp in May.
Both camps tested the facilities of the site and we were very pleased to say that the site performed well despite being struck by the wettest summer on record in the same year!
