Built in 1709, Bibbys Farm was purchased by the Bolton Scout Trust in March 2001 and opened as a Scout Campsite & Activity Centre in May 2005.

Located within easy reach of the West Pennine Moors, the centre provides access to a wide range of outdoor and indoor activities which are suitable for all ages and abilities.

Here at Bibbys we are now really excited and planning events for 2012 this includes fundraising for the new activity barn and development of the new explorer base.

NEW EVENT

Explorer Get me in there :- This is an exciting challenge event just for Explorers. It is an activity based competition, for teams of 4-6 where the prize is to get from a bivvy bag to indoor accommodation in just 3 nights. Cost £25 per person plus food. Poster

If any Explorer scouts either as a group or singularly wish to help at the site, please contact one of the Staff or email bookingoffice@bibbysfarm.org. This could be helping with activities once a month / helping to complete one of the many current on-going projects or just general jobs offering many of the services required to run the site. Each weekend is different. If you are thinking of stopping over please let the centre know at least 10 days before so we can check accommodation levels for that weekend.
