Route from south direction

 

Leave M61 at junction 6 (Reebok Stadium) and turn left toward the A6. At traffic island turn right heading for Chorley for a distance of 3.9 miles. At Adlington  you pass  the Clayton Arms on the left and the White Bear on the right.  Continue  around a small traffic island and fork right for Rivington,  passing Adlington railway station on the right. Continue along the B6227 for a distance of 1.1miles crossing over the A673 at the Elephant and Castle. Take a sharp left at the Bay horse heading for Limbrick, 1.3 miles. After passing the Black Horse on your right turn right  on to road signed posted Anglezarke  and follow the road round under the motorway for 0.4 miles.  Where the road takes a sharp right continue straight ahead  for 100 yards in the direction of the public footpath (Sign on the right) and fork left . Bibbys Farm is a further 200 yards down the road

Route from north direction

 

Leave the motorway at junction 8 , Botany Bay, turn right towards the A6 along the A674 and then turn left onto the A6 at the traffic island. Continue along the A6 through the traffic lights  towards Chorley town centre for 1.2 miles. Turn left on to Lyons lane for Cowling. After 0.3miles turn right at the tee junction , Seven Stars pub   and follow the road through Cowling to Limbrick. 1.0 mile.  Fork Left on to the road signed posted Anglezarke  and follow the road round under the motorway for 0.4 miles.  Where the road takes a sharp right continue straight ahead  for 100 yards in the direction of the public footpath (Sign on the right)and fork left . Bibbys Farm is a further 200 yards down the road.
